T-money Now Available on 'Xiaomi 15T Pro'...“Accelerating Localization”

[Financial News] Xiaomi Technology Korea LLC announced on the 9th that it will officially launch the mobile transportation payment service 'T-money' on its flagship smartphone, the Xiaomi 15T Pro.
With this introduction, users can now conveniently make payments with T-money not only for public transportation but also at convenience stores, cafes, and other everyday locations, further enhancing the usability of Xiaomi smartphones. Starting with the Xiaomi 15T Pro, Xiaomi Technology Korea LLC plans to gradually expand T-money support to additional models, continuously broadening features tailored to the Korean market and localized user experiences.
Xiaomi 15T Pro users can easily use public transportation such as buses and subways with just their smartphones, without the need for a physical transit card. By downloading the Mobile Tmoney application and registering a transit card, payments can be made simply by holding the back of the phone to a transit terminal. The service works instantly, even without launching the app or activating the screen. Additionally, users can pay at convenience stores, cafes, and other everyday merchants using their T-money transit card through the smartphone.
Through the Mobile Tmoney application, Xiaomi 15T Pro users can access a variety of additional features, including balance recharge and transaction history, automatic recharge settings, automatic fare discounts for children and teenagers, registration for transportation expense tax deductions, refund of unused balances, and card suspension or reissuance in case of loss or theft. All payments and refunds can be managed directly on the smartphone, eliminating the need to visit a physical transit card recharge station.
The Xiaomi 15T Pro is equipped with a Leica 5x pro telephoto camera and a triple camera system with a 15–230mm focal length, delivering a professional-grade photography experience. The main camera supports advanced video recording features such as 4K 120fps, 10-bit log, and HDR10 Plus. The device also boasts the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 Plus built on a 3-nanometer process and a 3D Ice Loop cooling system for efficient performance and heat management. It features an ultra-slim 1.5mm bezel and a 173.5mm 1.5K AMOLED display. Durability is enhanced with Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, TÜV Rheinland certification, a fiberglass back, and an aluminum frame. The 5,500mAh battery supports 90W wired and 50W wireless charging. Pricing is set at 849,970 KRW for the 12GB RAM/256GB storage model and 899,800 KRW for the 12GB RAM/512GB storage variant.
To celebrate the official launch of T-money, Xiaomi Technology Korea LLC will offer a complimentary Redmi Buds 6, valued at 51,800 KRW, to customers who purchase the Xiaomi 15T Pro from the 15th until January 1 of next year. The product is available through the official Xiaomi Technology Korea LLC online store, Xiaomi Store locations nationwide, the Xiaomi app, Naver Corporation, SSG.COM, and other major online channels.
