[Financial News] Key (real name Kim Ki-bum), a member of the group SHINee, is at the center of controversy after a connection was discovered between him and comedian Park Na-rae's so-called 'injection auntie', Ms. A.
Recently, a video posted by Ms. A on her social networking service (SNS) account has been spreading on online communities, drawing public attention.
The video features a brown poodle named 'Comme Des' and a gray poodle named 'Garçons', both of whom have appeared several times on TV shows such as MBC's 'I Live Alone' and are believed to be Key's pets.
Previously, in December of last year, Ms. A also posted a photo of the brown poodle on SNS, writing, 'Comme Des~ Why are you like this? It's been over 10 years, why do you still glare at me?' She also commented, 'What's on Comme Des' mind?? It's been over 10 years, so let's get along now?? Garçons doesn't act like this, so why do you?' She tagged the location as UN Village in Hannam-dong, where Key had lived for the past four years.
Currently, all posts related to Key have been deleted.
Nevertheless, fans are leaving comments on Key's SNS such as 'Please clarify the Comme Des photo on injection auntie's Instagram' and 'Please release a statement soon', demanding an explanation from Key.
Earlier, Dispatch reported on the 6th that Park Na-rae allegedly received IV drips and was prescribed antidepressants by Ms. A, the 'injection auntie', not at a medical institution but in a private home.
Typically, 'injection auntie' is a slang term referring to someone who illegally administers IV fluids or other medications in unauthorized locations.
In response, Park Na-rae's side stated, 'We understand that she has a medical license, and it was just a simple vitamin injection, not Propofol or anything similar.' They added, 'There has been no recent contact, and no procedures have been received.'
They further clarified, 'The claim about taking antidepressants is not true,' and explained, 'When Park Na-rae mentioned her claustrophobia, Ms. Lee gave her some medication she had.'
Despite Park Na-rae's explanation, the controversy continued, prompting Ms. A to claim on her SNS, '12 to 13 years ago, I studied hard while traveling back and forth to a place called Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and I became the youngest professor, both among locals and foreigners, at Pugang Medical University Hospital.' She added, 'With active support from the Inner Mongolia party secretary, I even attracted the Korean Plastic Surgery Center.'
Ms. A also released photos of herself in a doctor's gown at a hospital in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, videos of interviews with local media, and footage of her giving lectures.
In response, the Association of Doctors for a Fair Society issued a statement, saying, 'The Pugang Medical University mentioned by Park Na-rae's injection auntie is a ghost university,' and, 'Pugang Medical University does not exist.'
They further pointed out, 'Graduates of Chinese medical universities are not eligible to take the Korean Medical Licensing Examination,' and, 'If she practiced medicine in Korea, it is clearly illegal.'
The Korean Medical Association (KMA) also released a statement, emphasizing, 'Such acts are clearly illegal and unlicensed medical practices.' They added, 'This incident involves illegal procedures, not legitimate medical care by licensed professionals, and should not be misrepresented as home visits.'
They also stated, 'It is clear that this is a violation of the Medical Service Act and Pharmaceutical Affairs Act, which seriously threatens public health.'
Meanwhile, Key's mother was a nurse at a university hospital in Chilgok County, North Gyeongsang Province, and was promoted to head nurse before retiring last year.
