"K-Tourism Through Photos" 2025 Korea Tourism Photo Contest

Grand Prize Winner: 'Autumn in Jucheon.' Provided by the Korea Tourism Organization (KTO).

The Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) announced on the 5th that a photo exhibition featuring the winning works from the 2025 Korea Tourism Photo Contest will be held at HiKR Ground in Jung-gu, Seoul, until the 28th.
A total of 7,439 entries were submitted to this year's contest, with 97 works receiving awards. The prestigious Grand Prize (Presidential Award) went to 'Autumn in Jucheon' (Lee Jung-hee), a drone photograph capturing the autumn scenery of Jucheon Ecological Park in Jinan, North Jeolla Province. Gold prizes (Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Award) were presented to three works in each category: 'Essence of Nakhwa Nori' (Digital Camera Category, Junmo Lee), capturing the moment of the Nakhwa Nori festival in Haman County; 'Sunrise and Sea of Clouds at Maisan' (Smartphone Category, Lee Eun-suk), depicting the mystical sunrise at Maisan; and 'Frozen Winter Sea' (Drone Category, Lee Jae-yong), which captured the serene beauty of the winter sea.
Kim Namcheon, Acting Head of the Tourism Content Strategy Division at KTO, stated, "Through this exhibition, visitors can experience not only Korea’s beautiful landscapes but also the stories and emotions within them." He added, "The organization will continue to utilize the winning works to promote the appeal of Korea and inspire both domestic and international travelers through various initiatives."
Meanwhile, the winning photos are also available on the Photo Korea website, where KTO offers over 100,000 digital images free of charge.
