According to The Financial News, a lymphatic massage technique that helps alleviate pain and inflammation has recently attracted attention.
Lymph is responsible for immune function, and when its flow is blocked, it can lead to chronic inflammation.

Recently, Oriental medicine doctor Se Yeon Jung appeared on the health YouTube channel 'Jisik Hansang' to share massages that promote healthy lymph circulation.
Lymph circulation is a crucial system for waste removal and immune function. When lymph flow is obstructed, waste accumulates, resulting in repeated chronic inflammation and increasing the risk of cellular damage that can lead to tumor formation.
Signs of lymphatic stagnation include having a similar weight in the morning as the previous day, hard or painful lymph nodes in the armpits or groin, and recurring unexplained inflammations such as styes, mouth sores, or muscle stiffness.
Knowing How to Massage the Neck, Armpits, Abdomen, and Groin Can Be Helpful

To alleviate these issues, focus on lymphatic massage targeting four main areas: the neck, armpits, abdomen, and groin. The method is simple. For the chest and armpit areas, raise your arm and gently tap from the upper chest toward the armpit, then softly sweep in the same direction.
For the abdomen, create a flow from above the navel toward the armpit, and from below the navel toward the groin. For the inguinal area, lightly tap from the inside of the knee up to the thigh and then to the groin. The key is to always move in an upward direction.
These massage techniques help smooth blood flow and create a circulatory environment beneficial for cancer prevention. When lymphatic circulation is improved, waste and debris are more efficiently expelled, which reduces chronic inflammation and helps prevent the process where repeated cellular damage leads to tumor formation.
It is especially important to perform the massage gently and slowly along the lymphatic vessels located just beneath the skin. Excessive pressure can damage the lymphatic vessels and valves, so it should be avoided. Rollers or massage devices that apply strong pressure may also disrupt lymph flow.
