[Financial News] Comedian Park Na-rae has reportedly been subjected to a provisional seizure of her real estate assets following a request from two former managers. The former managers allege that Park Na-rae engaged in workplace harassment and verbal abuse, and they plan to file a lawsuit seeking damages. In response, Park Na-rae’s side expressed, "This is heartbreaking."
According to a report by Dailian on the 4th, Park Na-rae’s side stated, "Last month, two managers resigned without any particular incident, but then suddenly filed for a provisional seizure of 100 million won," adding, "It is very distressing."
Previously, Dispatch reported that Park Na-rae’s former managers had filed for a provisional seizure of her real estate at the Seoul Western District Court and planned to pursue a damages lawsuit.
The former managers claim that Park Na-rae subjected them to workplace harassment, verbal abuse, special assault, errands involving proxy prescriptions, and unresolved expense settlements. They reportedly submitted additional evidence to the court.
According to their claims, Park Na-rae frequently asked for personal favors and even assigned tasks related to her family. They further allege that they were verbally abused for refusing to drink alcohol and that a glass was thrown at them, causing injury. They also stated that some work-related expenses and food ingredient costs were not reimbursed in a timely manner.
The former managers particularly noted, "During the settlement process, Park Na-rae threatened to sue us for defamation and forgery of private documents." They explained that they filed for provisional seizure out of concern that Park Na-rae might dispose of her assets during the damages lawsuit.
Meanwhile, it has been reported that the managers suing Park Na-rae are not from her previous agency, where Kim Jun-ho serves as CEO, but are two managers who worked with her after she became independent.
