Petite France & Italian Village, a cultural theme park in Gapyeong-gun, Gyeonggi-do, announced on the 3rd that it will host the winter season’s signature event, the 'Pinocchio & The Little Prince Starlight Festival,' through February 28 next year.
This year’s festival, themed 'A Winter Journey Through European Fairy Tales,' transforms both villages into a warm and inviting winter space, blending lights, exhibitions, hands-on experiences, and performances.
At Italian Village, the festival opens with the 'Winter House,' capturing the spirit of Pinocchio’s Christmas. The space is thoughtfully arranged with Christmas decorations, cozy photo zones, and interactive experiences for children, making it especially appealing for families.
On Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, the entire village will be illuminated with even warmer lights, creating a perfect setting not only for family outings but also for couples seeking a romantic date spot.
Meanwhile, in Petite France, the 'Outdoor Starlight Photo Zone,' featuring the deep sentiment of winter lights, is expected to become a popular photo spot for couples during the Christmas season. Additional attractions include a 'World Music Box Demonstration,' the Antoine de Saint-Exupéry Memorial Hall, exhibitions at Gallery Petite France, and a Little Prince costume experience, offering something for visitors of all ages.
A representative from Petite France stated, “This year’s festival is designed as an ideal winter destination for families and couples. We hope visitors create unforgettable memories with loved ones through warm lighting, performances, and hands-on programs.”
