Fire Breaks Out in Kimchi Refrigerator, Damages Apartment Belongings

At 12:14 a.m. on the 2nd, a fire broke out in a kimchi refrigerator located in a room of an apartment on the 7th floor in Tanbang-dong, Seo-gu, Daejeon. The fire was extinguished within eight minutes.
No injuries were reported. However, the kimchi refrigerator and household items were burned, and seven square meters of the interior were scorched.
Fire authorities are investigating the cause of the fire, including whether the model involved was subject to a recall. The kimchi refrigerator is reported to be a 2002 model from Company A.
