[Financial News] NAVER Cloud has launched 'AI Studio' on NAVER WORKS.
NAVER Cloud announced on the 1st that it has released 'NAVER WORKS AI Studio,' a tool that allows anyone to create AI assistants optimized for their work without the need for experts. The company plans to continuously enhance NAVER WORKS, its business collaboration tool, by integrating NAVER’s AI technology and evolving it into an advanced AI collaboration platform.
'NAVER WORKS AI Studio' enables users to easily build customized AI assistants for business tasks using data from messages, bulletin boards, and more. Unlike general AI chatbots based on universal data, it allows companies to leverage internal resources to develop AI tailored to their actual work needs. For example, assistants like a 'Message Search Expert' that quickly finds information in NAVER WORKS messages, or a 'Weekly Report Master' that helps summarize and create tailored reports, can directly support business operations. Additionally, creative assistants such as 'Lunch Menu Recommendations' or 'Message-based MBTI Analysis' can be developed to facilitate smooth communication among colleagues.
AI capabilities have also been significantly enhanced. In email, features such as sentence improvement, schedule and task recommendations, and reply suggestions have been added to existing draft generation and style conversion functions. For Drive, new features include automatic file summarization and instant translation of file contents into English, Japanese, or Chinese, all without additional steps.
NAVER WORKS has maintained the top position in the paid business chat market in Japan for eight consecutive years. With over 590,000 global clients and more than 5.8 million users, the platform continues its growth, recently expanding into the Taiwanese market as well.
NAVER Cloud plans to further enhance NAVER WORKS as a productivity-boosting collaboration tool by continuously adding AI features. In fact, NAVER WORKS has demonstrated its effectiveness in business innovation through the integration of Clova Note for enterprises. Within just one year of launch, it secured over 150,000 clients in both Korea and Japan, showing rapid growth. In Japan, the time required to organize meeting minutes was reduced from two hours to just 30 minutes, resulting in more than a 70% improvement in work efficiency. A domestic user survey also revealed that over 80% of respondents experienced time savings, while more than 88% reported increased productivity in meetings.
Kyung Sung-min, Head of Cloud Product Strategy at NAVER Cloud, stated, “With AI Studio, each company can experience customized AI tailored to their unique work environment. We will continue to add diverse AI features to NAVER WORKS to drive substantial changes in work practices.”
Meanwhile, NAVER WORKS has been selected as the AI collaboration tool for the pilot service of the 'Intelligent Work Management Platform' utilizing the 'Government-wide AI Common Platform.' Since the end of November, it has been piloted for the Ministry of the Interior and Safety (MOIS), the Ministry of Science and ICT (MSIT), and the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety. NAVER WORKS will be provided as SaaS within the government network, actively supporting public officials in leveraging the latest AI technologies.
