'2025 MAMA Awards'

The 2025 MAMA Awards, a major popular music awards ceremony, will be held as scheduled in Hong Kong for two days starting today (November 28). However, the red carpet event has been canceled, and the main ceremony will forgo its usual festive and glamorous atmosphere.
In light of the recent apartment fire tragedy in Hong Kong on the 26th (local time), which resulted in significant loss of life, organizers have planned a moment of remembrance and will make donations to support the victims.
According to CJ ENM on the 28th, the red carpet event has been canceled, but the main awards ceremony will be broadcast live as planned. The event will focus on delivering comfort and hope, with careful attention to the overall stage design and proceedings, rather than the usual extravagant production.
The 2025 MAMA Awards will take place at 7:30 p.m. KST on November 28 and 29 at Kai Tak Sports Park, a large venue in Hong Kong that can accommodate approximately 50,000 standing attendees. Around 70,000 K-pop fans are expected to attend this year’s ceremony.
Actors Park Bo-gum and Kim Hye-soo will serve as hosts, while 25 stars including Go Youn-jung, Shin Seung-hun, Ahn Hyo-seop, Lee Kwang-soo, Im Si-wan, Jang Do-yeon, Jeon Yeo-been, Ju Ji-hoon, Cha Joo-young, and Hyeri will appear as presenters.
The stage will feature performances by ALPHA DRIVE ONE (ALD1), Babymonster, Enhypen, Hearts2Hearts, TWS (Twenty Four Seven With Us), Stray Kids, Zerobaseone (ZB1), G-Dragon, and other K-pop stars. An official collaboration stage with the Netflix animation 'KPop Demon Hunters' is also planned.
