[Financial News] The Prosecution Service has requested a one-year prison sentence in the appeal trial of Da Hye Moon, daughter of former President Moon Jae-in, who was fined in the first trial for drunk driving and operating an illegal lodging business. Both Moon and the Prosecution Service appealed the initial verdict, arguing that the 15 million won fine was inappropriate.
The Prosecution Service stated, "We ask the court to overturn the original verdict and sentence her to one year in prison, as previously requested. " Moon's attorney argued, "The defendant deeply regrets her actions and asks for leniency.
