[Financial News] Due to the protest by the National Solidarity for the Elimination of Discrimination against the Disabled, Seoul Subway Line 4 trains temporarily skipped Hyehwa Station.
Seoul Metro announced that, starting at 8:20 a.m. on the 27th, southbound trains on Seoul Subway Line 4 were passing through Hyehwa Station without stopping due to the protest.
Normal service resumed at approximately 8:52 a.m., and trains are currently operating as usual.
According to Seoul Metro, this is at least the 15th time this year that trains have skipped stations as a result of protests by the National Solidarity for the Elimination of Discrimination against the Disabled.
The group has been conducting awareness campaigns on the subway during the morning commute, urging the government to guarantee budgetary support for the rights of people with disabilities.
