Due to a protest by the National Solidarity for the Elimination of Discrimination against the Disabled, Seoul Subway Line 4 trains are passing through Hyehwa Station without stopping.
Seoul Metro announced that, starting at 8:20 a.m. on the 27th, southbound trains on Seoul Subway Line 4 have been skipping Hyehwa Station as a result of the group's subway boarding protest.
According to the company, this is at least the 15th time this year that trains have skipped stations due to protests by the National Solidarity for the Elimination of Discrimination against the Disabled.
The group is conducting an awareness campaign on the subway during the morning commute, urging the government to secure budget guarantees for the rights of people with disabilities.
