Police Officer Who Inspired Ma Dong-seok’s Character in 'The Outlaws' Caught Drunk Driving in Gangnam—Blood Alcohol Level Warrants License Revocation

[Financial News] It has been confirmed that the police officer who served as the real-life model for Ma Dong-seok’s character, Ma Seok-do, in the film 'The Outlaws' was involved in a drunk driving accident.
According to police on the 25th, the Seoul Suseo Police Station booked Inspector A the previous day on charges of drunk driving under the Road Traffic Act.
Inspector A is accused of driving under the influence at around 8:30 p.m. that day and causing a minor collision near Gangnam Severance Hospital in Dogok-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
A breathalyzer test revealed Inspector A’s blood alcohol concentration was at a level warranting license revocation (0.08% or higher). Fortunately, there were no casualties.
The Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency (SMPA) has suspended Inspector A from duty and is conducting an internal investigation, in addition to the drunk driving probe.
