Due to protests by the National Solidarity for the Elimination of Discrimination against the Disabled, non-stop passage measures at Hyehwa Station have ended and subway service has returned to normal.
Seoul Metro announced on the 25th that, following the conclusion of the protest, the non-stop passage for southbound trains at Hyehwa Station on Seoul Subway Line 4 was lifted at approximately 8:51 a.m.
During the protest, seven southbound trains on the subway line passed through the station without stopping.
The National Solidarity for the Elimination of Discrimination against the Disabled has been holding rush-hour demonstrations to demand guaranteed budget rights for people with disabilities.
