[The Financial News] In a residential neighborhood of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, the body of a Korean man was found inside a large bag, prompting a police investigation.

According to the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Ho Chi Minh City and other sources on the 24th (local time), the body of a man was discovered near a residential building in Ho Chi Minh City the previous afternoon.
At the time, the man's remains were found inside a large blue bag.
A security guard and passersby noticed a strange smell coming from the bag and reported it to the local police.
Responding to the report, local police cordoned off the area, recovered the body, and identified the victim as a Korean national.
Police are currently questioning two Korean men in their twenties who fled the scene by taxi the previous day. Authorities are also examining the partially decomposed state of the body to determine the time and cause of death.
A representative from the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Ho Chi Minh City stated, "We were notified by local police that the deceased was a Korean national," adding, "We will contact the victim's family and provide consular assistance."
