KOSPI Holds Firm on Institutional Buying [fn Afternoon Market]

[The Financial News] The Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) is showing a firm trend on the 24th, supported by buying from institutional investors.
As of 2:13 p.m., the KOSPI was trading at 3,861.95, up 8.69 points (0.23%) from the previous session.
The KOSPI opened at 3,915.16, rising 61.90 points (1.61%) from the previous day.
In the domestic stock market, individual investors and foreign investors sold 569.9 billion won and 115 billion won worth of shares, respectively, while institutional investors purchased 700.9 billion won.
Among the top 14 stocks by market capitalization, Samsung Electronics (up 2.64%), Samsung C&T (up 0.93%), and Naver (up 0.76%) led the gains. In contrast, LG Energy Solution (down 2.59%), Celltrion (down 1.71%), and Samsung Biologics (down 1.50%) saw declines.
The KOSDAQ Index was trading at 855.18, down 8.77 points (1.02%) from the previous session. The index opened at 860.75, a decrease of 3.2 points (0.37%).
