"After Returning from the Restroom, I Found Him in the Pool"... 14-Month-Old Transported in Cardiac Arrest

[Financial News] In Gangneung, Gangwon Province, a one-year-old child fell into a swimming pool at a pension and was transported to the hospital in cardiac arrest.
At around 12:02 p.m. on the 23rd, a 14-month-old boy fell into water 1.3 meters deep at a swimming pool in a pension in Gangneung.
After receiving a report that "a child has fallen into the swimming pool," the 119 Emergency Medical Services Team arrived at the scene about 20 minutes later. The boy was found unconscious and in cardiac arrest.
The EMS team performed CPR and transported the boy to a nearby hospital, where he is currently receiving treatment in the intensive care unit (ICU).
The police are investigating the exact circumstances of the accident based on the guardian's report, which stated, "After returning from the restroom, I couldn't find the child, and then discovered he had fallen into the swimming pool."
Meanwhile, in February, a 10-month-old boy drowned in a swimming pool at a pool villa pension in Goseong-gun, Gangwon Province. The pool where the accident occurred was reportedly for exclusive use by guests and had a depth of about one meter.
