9-Year-Old Boy Dies After Falling Into Bathtub at Bathhouse in Yeongcheon

[Financial News] An elementary school boy drowned and died at a bathhouse in Yeongcheon, North Gyeongsang Province.
According to the police on the 24th, at around 4:58 p.m. the previous day, a 9-year-old boy fell into the water at a hot spring bathhouse in Seosan-dong, Yeongcheon.
The boy, who was found in cardiac arrest, received emergency treatment from the 119 Emergency Medical Service and was transported to the hospital, but ultimately passed away.
It was reported that the boy had come to the bathhouse with his family when the accident occurred. While his father was receiving a body scrub, another patron discovered the child and alerted the staff.
The police have requested an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death and are investigating the circumstances of the accident based on witness statements.
