Actor Lee Jang-woo (39) and Cho Hye-won (31) tied the knot after seven years of dating, drawing attention for the appearance of a 'Walnut Cookie Bouquet' at their wedding.
On the 23rd, the couple held their wedding ceremony at Lotte Hotel World in Jamsil, Songpa-gu, Seoul.
The ceremony was hosted by Kian84 and Jun Hyun-moo, both of whom appeared with the groom on MBC’s 'I Live Alone.' The congratulatory songs were performed by Lee Jang-woo’s cousin Hwanhee, musical actor Han Ji-sang, and Min Woo-hyuk.
Cho Hye-won wore a silk halterneck dress and carried a vibrant bouquet.
After the main ceremony, Cho Hye-won switched to a specially made 'Walnut Cookie Bouquet' for commemorative photos with the guests.
Buchang Bakery, which collaborates with Lee Jang-woo, announced on its official Instagram that it had prepared a surprise gift for the wedding—a bouquet made from walnut cookie models. The post included photos of Cho Hye-won holding the Walnut Cookie Bouquet and posing with guests.
Buchang Bakery explained, "Walnuts, which have long been used as ingredients for honored guests, symbolize prosperity and the flourishing of descendants in traditional wedding foods. We hope this Walnut Cookie Bouquet, filled with love and blessings, brings lasting happiness and prosperity to the couple’s future."
The wedding favors were also walnut cookies.
The packaging featured illustrations of a smiling Lee Jang-woo and Cho Hye-won, along with a message: 'We have filled Buchang Bakery’s sweet walnut cookies, baked with love, with our heartfelt gratitude for your warm presence today.'
Buchang Bakery is a brand co-created by Lee Jang-woo and food content company FG. Since opening its first store in October last year, it has sold 100 million walnut cookies in just six months, gaining significant popularity.
Lee Jang-woo and Cho Hye-won became a couple after working together on the KBS 2TV drama 'My Only One' in 2018. In June 2023, they publicly acknowledged their relationship, and after seven years of dating, they have now married.
