On the 22nd, Kim Gu-ra discussed real estate with fellow broadcaster Cho Young-gu on his YouTube channel, 'GreeGura.'
That day, Cho Young-gu said, "I own two homes in Namsan Mountain and Samgakji. Two years ago, I bought a residential officetel in Namsan Mountain for 1 billion won, but its value dropped by 150 million won."
He continued, "When I went to the hair salon, the ladies there told me to buy just one unit. They said the price would double as soon as I bought it, so I rushed over while getting my hair cut."

Cho Young-gu added, "The other property is in Samgakji, Yongsan District, Seoul. I bought that apartment for 500 million won during Kim Dae-jung's presidency, and now I think it's worth over 2 billion won."
Kim Gu-ra pointed out, "If it's been over 20 years and 500 million won became 2 billion won, that's not a huge increase by Seoul standards."
He went on, "Dong-hyun bought a 32-pyeong apartment in Guri. It is being redeveloped, and he purchased it for 500 million won with a 250 million won jeonse lease. In just a few years, its value rose to 1 billion won. That's why you should buy properties with potential."
Meanwhile, Kim Gu-ra has also drawn attention for his success in gold and stock investments. Last month on the 22nd, he revealed that he bought Samsung Electronics shares at an average price of 49,000 won, achieving a 100% return.
He also reported earning more than triple returns from gold investments. He said, "I bought about 1.35 kg of gold, and a few years ago, when gold prices surged, it was worth around 200 million won. When I considered selling, my wife told me to keep it. Now, it's worth 340 million won."
