Full, plumped lips, flawless taut skin, voluminous cheeks and forehead, and dramatically bold eyebrows—these are the features drawing attention as the latest plastic surgery style in Washington, D.C. This look is often referred to as the 'Mar-a-Lago-style appearance.'
The Guardian reported on the 18th (local time) that since the inauguration of the Donald John Trump administration, the uniform appearance of elite women in the Make America Great Again (MAGA) camp—Trump's core supporters—has been in the spotlight. The article also noted that 'MAGA women makeover' procedures, imitating this look, are becoming increasingly popular in Washington, D.C.
The Guardian explained that this appearance, named after Mar-a-Lago, Donald John Trump's residence in Florida, is also called the 'Mar-a-Lago-style look.' It is characterized by a conspicuously artificial and excessive look, with unmistakable signs of cosmetic surgery.
Previously, Axios also reported that plastic surgeons in Washington, D.C. have recently seen a surge in requests for 'Mar-a-Lago face' procedures from those close to Donald John Trump. Patients are said to be seeking visibly dramatic and exaggerated surgical results.

Kristi Noem, U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security; 'MAGA influencer' Laura Loomer; and Kimberly Guilfoyle, former girlfriend of Donald Trump Jr. and current U.S. ambassador to Greece, are all presented as faces representing the 'MAGA-style' look.
Axios analyzed that this aesthetic aligns with Donald John Trump's personal beauty standards, and that these women have undergone such procedures as a political gesture of respect toward him.
Kelly Bolden, a plastic surgeon practicing in Washington, D.C., stated, 'Clients in their 20s and 30s actually say they like the artificial look.' She added, 'I think the administration is younger than before, and this trend may have influenced the current aesthetic.'
As Bolden noted, Karoline Leavitt, the White House spokesperson, and Anna Kelly, deputy spokesperson—both 28 years old—are frequently seen in front of the press, serving as the 'voice of Trump' and defending various policies of the Trump administration.
Another plastic surgeon, Shervin Naderi, described this phenomenon as 'the mask of modern aristocrats.'
