[Financial News] Nongshim announced on the 19th that it has appointed the girl group Aespa as the global ambassador for Shin Ramyun.
By partnering with Aespa, an iconic K-pop group, Nongshim plans to promote Shin Ramyun’s global slogan, 'Spicy Happiness In Noodles,' worldwide. The company explained that Aespa’s energetic image aligns with Shin Ramyun’s global brand value, and the members’ genuine affection for the product was a key reason for their selection.
Nongshim will unveil its first global Shin Ramyun commercial in collaboration with Aespa. The commercial, produced in a music video format, showcases Aespa’s signature vocals and performances to highlight the appeal of Shin Ramyun. Notably, it features the 'Shin Ramyun Dance,' which turns the act of opening the noodle package and pouring water into a dance, as well as choreography that expresses the English name 'SHIN' with finger movements.
Alongside this, Nongshim will introduce the 'aespa Special Package' featuring images of the Aespa members. The multipack will display a group image, while individual packs will feature each member. This package will be launched sequentially, starting in China in November and expanding to South Korea and other countries in December.
Additionally, the multipacks of Shin Ramyun and Shin Ramyun Toomba will include a photo card featuring the members’ photos and handwritten messages.
Aespa stated, "Shin Ramyun has always been a brand we enjoyed in our daily lives. Now, as official ambassadors, we look forward to actively sharing the appeal of Shin Ramyun with our global fans."
