[Financial News] It seems the world is promoting Olive Young, which is recognized as a K-beauty mecca.
Jesse Lingard, a former Manchester United player now in his second year living in Korea with FC Seoul, appeared on a TV variety show where he was seen shopping enthusiastically at Olive Young and taking care of his skin. Karoline Leavitt, former White House spokesperson, and wives of Major League Baseball players also visited Olive Young stores during their busy schedules in Korea, showing their fondness for K-beauty.
Even Olive Young officials were unaware of these visits.
This time, global fashion magazine Vogue toured Olive Young stores and published a selection of 'must-buy K-beauty products in Seoul.' Vogue highlighted products that excel in price, performance, and user experience, based on their own shopping experiences at Olive Young in Seoul.

The first product Vogue recommended was Mediheal's Madecassoside Essential Mask. According to the magazine, "Containing 98% high-purity madecassoside, it delivers an immediate soothing effect to skin that has become red and sensitive from the fatigue of long-haul flights."
They also shared user reviews.
A Vogue editor praised, "After using this mask following a long flight, the redness and dryness of my skin noticeably subsided. Redness, dryness, and even blemishes all miraculously disappeared. It truly feels like a gift from above."
Round Lab's Birch Juice Gel Cleanser was also listed as a must-have. Vogue reported that the combination of glycerin, birch sap, and hyaluronic acid in this product "gently removes impurities while leaving the skin even more hydrated after cleansing."

Beauty of Joseon's Relief Sun: Rice + Probiotics SPF50+ also made the list. Vogue noted its minimal white cast and excellent moisturizing properties, saying it can essentially be used as a moisturizing cream. The magazine added, "In Korea, sunscreen is used as part of skincare."
This product drew attention last October when spokesperson Leavitt purchased it at Olive Young during her visit to Korea for the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit in Gyeongju.
Care Plus's Careplus Scar Cover Spot Patch, an acne patch, is popular among foreign visitors to Korea for its small size, affordable price, and effective results.
For lip care, Vogue recommended Laneige's Lip Sleeping Mask, which contains vitamin C and coconut oil. Peripera's Ink the Velvet Tint was also included for its rich color payoff and effectiveness in creating stylish looks.
Lastly, THE SAEM's Cover Perfection Tip Concealer was praised for its smooth texture and perfect coverage, earning a spot on the list.

Vogue identified the common feature of these seven products as their "lightweight and hydrating feel." The magazine also cited their affordable prices as a major strength.
Vogue explained, "Most of these products are available in the UK, but it's better to buy them in Korea if possible. The Korean beauty market is highly competitive, offering frequent updates and high-quality products." They suggested, "If you want the latest technology, buy in Korea."
The article continued, "Most items are priced between 10,000 and 20,000 won. That's about half to a third of UK prices, and with a VAT refund, you can save an additional 10%. K-beauty is not just a trend but a lifestyle. Travelers visiting Seoul should leave some space in their luggage for a trip to Olive Young."
