Before the ceremony, Kim Ok-vin said, "Hello, this is Ok-vin. I am getting married tomorrow," adding, "I was shy and thought about keeping it quiet, but I felt it was right to greet those who have supported me over the past 20 years."

Meanwhile, Kim Ok-vin held a private wedding ceremony with her non-celebrity husband on the 16th at Hotel Shilla in Seoul. The wedding reportedly took place at Hotel Shilla's luxury wedding venue, which is famous as the site where actress Jun Ji-hyun and former figure skater Yuna Kim also held their weddings.
The cost of a wedding at Hotel Shilla varies significantly depending on additional items such as venue rental, production fees, floral decorations, and meal costs. Actual cases show the total can reach around 196.93 million KRW.
Previously, beauty YouTuber Double Soup, who has 680,000 subscribers, revealed that after holding her wedding at Hotel Shilla in Seoul this May, she paid a total of 196,930,962 KRW, including meal costs and floral decorations. She held her ceremony in the Dynasty Hall at Hotel Shilla.
Double Soup explained, "The venue rental fee itself is not extremely expensive, but it only covers the square space. There are many additional costs for things like floral decorations, beam projectors, curtains, chandeliers, wedding stage decorations, and live music. Everything is an extra charge. If you add a wedding cake, the price increases even more."
She especially noted, "We spent 61 million KRW just on floral decorations for the wedding hall, and with additional costs for curtains and other decor, the total came to 88.6 million KRW. The meal cost starts at 200,000 KRW per person, and with 433 guests, the total meal expense was about 90 million KRW."
According to the Korea Consumer Agency (KCA), the average wedding cost across 14 regions nationwide is 20.74 million KRW. Gangnam District, Seoul was the highest at 33.36 million KRW, while Gyeongsang Province was the lowest at 11.53 million KRW. The average meal cost per person is 58,000 KRW, with Gangnam District, Seoul at 83,000 KRW.
