[The Financial News] An apartment resident who had been suffering from cigarette smoke coming from outside posted a threatening notice in the elevator that appeared to warn of murder. The resident has been charged with public intimidation.
According to police on the 16th, at around 11 p.m. on the 16th of last month in an apartment in Cheongju, a report was filed stating, "There is an article about a murder case posted in the elevator, and above it, someone wrote 'You're Next.'"
The article in question was confirmed to be a report on a murder case that occurred due to a dispute between apartment residents over cigarette smoke.
Through reviewing Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) footage and other means, police identified and apprehended resident A, who is in their 50s, as the person who posted the notice.
It was found that resident A committed the act after suffering from cigarette smoke entering their home.
