Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) announced on the 14th that 'Call of Duty: Black Ops 7' will be the first title to feature AMD's FSR Ray Tracing Reconstruction technology.
FSR Ray Tracing Reconstruction is a real-time, machine learning-based denoiser. It replaces traditional denoisers, delivering sharper details and fewer artifacts in ray tracing effects.
This technology is the first to launch from the AMD FSR Redstone suite. Support will be available starting on the release day of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7.
FSR Ray Tracing Reconstruction, supported on the AMD Radeon RX 9000 Series graphics cards, uses artificial intelligence to refine ray-traced reflections before upscaling and frame generation. This results in crisper, cinematic visuals and a more immersive gaming experience.
