[Financial News] All members of NewJeans have chosen not to appeal the first trial verdict in the lawsuit confirming the validity of their exclusive contract, in which they lost. As a result, the first trial ruling that the exclusive contract between NewJeans and ADOR remains valid has been finalized.
According to the music industry on the 14th, all NewJeans members (Haerin, Hyein, Minji, Danielle, Hanni) did not file an appeal by the deadline of midnight on this day.
Consequently, the exclusive contracts between all NewJeans members and ADOR are now legally recognized.
Previously, Civil Agreement Division 41 of the Seoul Central District Court, presided over by Judge Jeong Hoe-il, ruled in favor of the plaintiff on the 30th of last month in the lawsuit filed by ADOR against the five NewJeans members, confirming the validity of the exclusive contracts.
Subsequently, on the 12th, ADOR officially announced the return of Haerin and Hyein to the team, while Minji, Danielle, and Hanni expressed their intention to return at a later date.
On the 13th, ADOR stated, "We are currently arranging individual meetings with the members and will do our best to ensure smooth discussions."
Given that ADOR previously announced the return of Haerin and Hyein, saying, "They carefully considered the matter with their families and had thorough discussions with ADOR," it is interpreted that these upcoming individual meetings are intended for Minji, Hanni, and Danielle, who have since expressed their intention to return to the agency.
