Katseye, the global girl group formed by Hybe and Geffen Records, has achieved the remarkable feat of topping the monthly listener chart among all girl groups worldwide on Spotify, the world’s largest music streaming platform.
From October 13 to November 9, Katseye recorded 33,401,675 monthly listeners on Spotify. This figure surpasses the records of other major global K-pop artists during the same period.
Only HUNTR/X from 'KPop Demon Hunters' remains ahead

The only group surpassing Katseye’s streaming numbers is HUNTR/X, the virtual girl group from the Netflix film 'KPop Demon Hunters.' Meanwhile, Katseye’s hit song 'Gabriela' reached a cumulative 401,843,268 streams on Spotify as of the 9th (local time), continuing its explosive growth. This milestone was achieved in just about 143 days since its release on June 20.
Katseye now has two songs with over 400 million streams on Spotify. Prior to 'Gabriela,' their track 'Touch' surpassed 500 million streams on October 28.
‘Gnarly,’ released in April this year, has exceeded 320 million streams and continues to rise rapidly. The debut track 'Debut' and 'Gameboy,' the title track from 'Beautiful Chaos,' have each surpassed 190 million and 120 million streams, respectively, and are approaching the 200 million mark.
The speed at which Katseye’s songs accumulate streams is accelerating with each new release. 'Touch,' released in July last year, reached 100 million streams in 80 days, while 'Gnarly,' released in April this year, achieved the same milestone in just 52 days. Furthermore, 'Gabriela' surpassed 100 million streams in only 38 days. When it comes to reaching 400 million streams, 'Touch' took 380 days, but 'Gabriela' broke that record by 237 days.
Katseye’s meteoric rise was further proven when, on the 8th (Korean time), The Recording Academy announced the nominees for the 68th Grammy Awards, with Katseye receiving nominations for both Best New Artist and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.
Meanwhile, Katseye, the global girl group developed under Hybe’s 'K-pop methodology,' will embark on their first solo North American tour starting in November. The tour will include 16 shows across 13 cities: Minneapolis, Toronto, Boston, New York City (NYC), Washington, D.C., Atlanta, Sugar Land, Irving, Texas, Phoenix, San Francisco, Seattle, Los Angeles, and Mexico City. In April next year, they are also set to perform at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival (Coachella).
