Hyundai Engineering & Construction (Hyundai E&C) announced on the 12th that it will implement its self-developed AI-based sleep care solution, 'Hey, Sleep', in actual apartment complexes.
This system is an active care solution in which AI analyzes individual sleep data and automatically adjusts lighting, temperature, ventilation, and noise. It is a smart wellness technology that allows the space to respond autonomously to the user's biorhythm.
Hyundai E&C is applying 'Hey, Sleep' for the first time to the guesthouse at Hillstate Lake Songdo 4th and will hold an event this month where residents and visitors can experience it firsthand.
The guesthouse on the 32nd and 33rd floors, which offers views of the West Sea, has been redefined as a 'healing lounge for rest and recovery' beyond just an accommodation space. Guests can experience an optimal sleep environment where AI algorithms automatically adjust lighting, temperature, and ventilation.
At the demonstration event, startup products such as Digital Nutrition's sleep-inducing sounds, Biobytes' sleeping jelly, and LEESOL's wellness devices will be showcased. Upcycled amenities developed in collaboration with Sustainable Lab will also be presented.
Going forward, Hyundai E&C plans to introduce 'Hey, Sleep' at the guesthouse of The H Bangbae and expand it as an optional product for individual units. The company is also participating in a pilot test of the vehicle-optimized sleep solution 'Mobile Nap' in collaboration with Hyundai Motor Company.
A Hyundai E&C official stated, "'Hey, Sleep' is a technology platform that evolves residential spaces beyond mere living areas, focusing on residents' recovery and wellness. We aim to create a residential culture where the quality of sleep directly enhances the quality of life."
