[Financial News] The Korea Association of Real Estate Development (KODA) announced on the 10th that it will officially declare the 'Future Vision for the Developer Industry in Korea' at its 20th anniversary ceremony, which will be held on the 20th at the Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas in Samseong-dong, Seoul.
This vision statement aims to prepare the developer industry for a new leap forward, focusing on sustainability, public interest, global competitiveness, and digital innovation.
According to KODA, the future vision includes strengthening public interest and transparency, promoting industry innovation based on research and data, and establishing a robust system for financial stability and risk management. It also emphasizes ESG (environmental, social, and governance) urban development and the expansion of global networks.
Since its launch in 2021, KODA has been nurturing future talent through 'ARPY,' which has become a core program for developing the next generation of developers. ARPY is a hands-on, mentor-based educational program derived from the Advanced Real Estate and Urban Innovation Program (ARP) operated by KODA.
Seungbae Kim, president of KODA, stated, "ARPY is a next-generation development track that includes learning from domestic and international urban development cases and practical developer projects. We will continue to develop this program to foster leadership and entrepreneurial thinking for the future of the industry."
Meanwhile, the 20th anniversary event will also feature the Global Developer Conference and the announcement of the establishment of the Korea Real Estate Development Industry Research Institute. Han-Mo Kim, head of the 20th Anniversary Project Group and chairman of H&M Group, remarked, "For the past 20 years, Korea's developer industry has driven national growth and urban development. The next 20 years will be a time to set new standards for K-Developer through public interest, responsibility, innovation, and global cooperation."
