Broadcaster Park Soo-hong makes a statement before attending the fourth trial on embezzlement charges against his older brother and sister-in-law at the Seoul Western District Court on the afternoon of the 15th.

[Financial News] Broadcaster Park Soo-hong (55) has been cleared by police of blackmail allegations raised by Mr. A, the CEO of a food company.
According to police on the 7th, the Seoul Gangnam Police Station decided not to refer Park's blackmail case for prosecution on the 20th of last month.
Previously, in September 2023, Park filed a civil lawsuit against Mr. A, claiming he had not received 496 million won in modeling fees for a squid product he promoted. The case is currently ongoing in court.
Subsequently, in July, Mr. A filed a blackmail complaint against Park, alleging that Park used his celebrity status and a lawyer to pressure him after his demands were not met. However, police found insufficient evidence to support these claims and did not recognize the charges.
With the complaint dismissed, Park's side is reportedly considering a response against Mr. A for false accusation.
