"What makes Bespoke AI truly special is its integration of three core elements—screen, Bixby, and vision—into home appliances, delivering experiences never before seen," he stated.
Mun Jongseung, Vice President and Head of the Development Team at the Digital Appliances Division of Samsung Electronics, explained in the Samsung Newsroom on the 7th, "Bespoke AI is an AI-powered appliance that provides personalized experiences tailored to users’ lifestyles and needs."
He added, "In addition to screen, Bixby, and vision technologies, Samsung Electronics is expanding Wi-Fi integration in appliances to enable advanced connectivity between products. For example, nine out of ten four-door refrigerators now come equipped with Wi-Fi."
He further explained that the company aims to enhance AI technology and inter-device connectivity, so that appliances can understand users and operate autonomously. For instance, screens are being applied to Bespoke AI Family Hub, hybrid refrigerators, washers and dryers, and cooking appliances. These screens allow users to easily monitor and control functions, improving convenience and accessibility. They also offer an integrated control feature for managing various home devices at a glance.
Home appliances equipped with vision technology, such as the Samsung Family Hub, nine-inch screen refrigerators, Samsung BESPOKE AI Steam robot vacuum cleaners, and ovens, can recognize objects and assist with household chores. The evolution is moving toward reducing the burden of housework.
Samsung Electronics plans to triple the number of major AI appliance models this year compared to last year, and will continue to expand its lineup next year.
Vice President Mun stated, "Bespoke AI takes care of tedious, difficult, and time-consuming tasks in daily life on behalf of users. With advanced AI features, it will dramatically reduce household chores that previously required constant attention." He emphasized, "Ultimately, our goal is to enable individuals and families to spend more time on meaningful activities. Looking further ahead, we plan to expand the organically connected Bespoke AI experience from the AI home to buildings, vehicles, and ships, making it accessible across various industries.
