KOSPI Rebounds After Three Days Despite Foreign Selling

KOSPI rebounded after three consecutive days of decline.
On the 6th, KOSPI closed at 4,026.45, up 22.03 points (0.55%) from the previous trading day.
KOSPI opened at 4,092.46, up 88.04 points (2.20%) from the previous day. During the session, the index rose as much as 107.54 points (2.69%) to reach 4,111.96.
In the KOSPI Market, individual investors purchased 758.1 billion won worth of shares. Institutions were also net buyers, acquiring 874.9 billion won. In contrast, foreign investors sold 1.6706 trillion won worth of stocks.
Among large-cap stocks, performance was mixed. Samsung Electronics fell by 1.39%, while SK hynix gained 2.42%. LG Energy Solution rose by 1.29%.
By sector, electricity and gas (up 5.37%), insurance (up 4.99%), and finance (up 3.51%) led the gains. On the other hand, machinery and equipment (down 3.56%) and IT services (down 3.02%) declined.
The KOSDAQ Index ended at 898.17, down 3.72 points (0.41%) from the previous day.
