[Financial News] The KOSPI rebounded after three consecutive sessions of decline.
As of 9:21 a.m. on the 6th, the KOSPI was trading at 4,049.86, up 45.44 points (1.13%) from the previous session.
The index opened at 4,092.46, up 88.04 points (2.20%) from the previous day. During intraday trading, it climbed as high as 4,111.96, marking a gain of 107.54 points (2.69%).
In the KOSPI market, individual investors are net buyers of 314.5 billion won, while institutions have a net purchase of 129.4 billion won. In contrast, foreign investors have sold 471.2 billion won worth of shares.
Most of the top market cap stocks are on the rise. Samsung Electronics is trading at 101,100 won, up 0.50%, and SK hynix is nearing the 600,000-won mark at 596,000 won, up 2.94%. LG Energy Solution is also showing strong gains of over 4%.
By sector, electricity and gas (up 3.38%), electrical and electronics (up 1.50%), and finance (up 1.09%) are leading the gains. IT services (down 1.75%) and entertainment and culture (down 1.50%) are showing weakness.
The KOSDAQ index is also trading higher at 907.62, up 5.73 points (0.64%) from the previous day.
