[The Financial News] On the day of the 2026 CSAT, which falls on the 13th, examinees are strongly advised not to check answers after the first session, as it may disrupt concentration for the following tests. Nam Yungon, head of the admissions strategy research center at MegaStudyEdu, emphasized on the 5th that, "The key to success is thorough preparation and condition management from the day before the CSAT through the test day, as well as effective time allocation and problem-solving strategies during the exam to perform at your best and prevent any misconduct."■ Do not spend more than 5 minutes on a single questionIt is crucial to recognize the importance of the first session on the day of the CSAT and maximize your focus. After the first session, refrain from checking incorrect answers.
Nam Yungon stated, "Time management is essential, so secure time by solving easier questions first, and carefully read each question multiple times to fully understand it." In the mathematics section, if a problem cannot be solved within five minutes, move on decisively. For difficult questions, it is effective to eliminate incorrect options first rather than trying to find the correct answer immediately. Additionally, begin marking your answers at least ten minutes before the end of the test to avoid misconduct caused by filling in answers after the exam ends. During the fourth session, maintain your composure and confidence through positive mindset control.■ Pay attention to body temperature during the examHave a light breakfast, but do not skip it, as it helps maintain brain function and physical condition.
Nam Yungon advised, "Arrive early at the CSAT test center to check your seat, desk, and chair for any discomfort, and request a change if necessary to prevent distractions during the exam." He also recommended eating familiar foods, such as your usual lunchbox, to avoid stomach issues, and preparing a lap blanket or several layers of thin clothing to regulate body temperature in case of cold.■ Review summary notes the day beforeOn the day before the CSAT, reduce anxiety by confirming the test location, transportation, and your designated room during the preliminary briefing.
Nam Yungon said, "After the preliminary briefing, it is effective to briefly review your summary notes or mock test error notes for final preparation." Examinees must be aware of types of misconduct and important guidelines, ensuring that prohibited items such as mobile phones and smart devices are not brought into the test center or are submitted in advance. Remember that personal mechanical pencils or pens are not allowed.
Prepare essential items such as your test admission ticket and ID in advance. For optimal performance, go to bed before 11 p.m. at the latest to get enough sleep, so you can perform at your best even under tension.
