[Financial News] The Kkanbu Chicken Samseong branch has decided to limit the usage time of the table where Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang sat together with Samsung Electronics Chairman Lee Jae-yong and Hyundai Motor Group Chairman Chung Eui-sun.
According to industry sources on the 4th, a notice was posted on the window of the Kkanbu Chicken restaurant in Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, stating, "For the benefit of all, the usage time for the Jensen Huang CEO table is limited to one hour. We hope everyone visiting receives good energy."
The restaurant gained attention after Jensen Huang visited on the 30th of last month for a 'chimaek gathering' with Samsung Electronics Chairman Lee Jae-yong and Hyundai Motor Group Chairman Chung Eui-sun.
Since then, many visitors have flocked to the restaurant, hoping to experience the menu and seating just as it was during the gathering. Most guests have reportedly requested to sit at the spot where Jensen Huang was seated.
According to News1, on the afternoon of the 31st of last month, more than ten people were waiting outside Kkanbu Chicken in Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul even before opening. A woman in her 50s, who said she had invested in Nvidia-related Exchange-Traded Funds (ETF), told the media, "The price has gone up so much. I need to get some of that energy too. I just want to eat once at the seat where Jensen Huang sat."
As soon as the restaurant opened at 3 p.m. that day, all seats were filled, and the window-side 'trio table' was immediately occupied.
After seeing the notice, online commenters remarked, "It seems inevitable since everyone wants to sit there," "That spot should remain a photo zone for a while," "A place touched by success," "I want to go and soak up the energy," and "The chair might break soon at this rate."
