Knife Rampage Amid Redevelopment Association Conflict in Cheonho-dong: Three Seriously Injured, Suspect Arrested at the Scene

[Financial News] Three people sustained serious injuries after a man in his 60s launched a knife attack in a commercial building in Cheonho-dong, Gangdong District, Seoul.
According to police, the incident occurred at around 10:20 a.m. on the 4th, and the suspect was immediately apprehended at the scene.
Authorities believe the attack was related to internal conflict within the local Redevelopment Association. The victims, a woman in her 50s, a woman in her 60s, and a man in his 70s, all suffered serious injuries. Police and fire officials stated that none of the three victims were in cardiac arrest and their lives were not in danger. The injured were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment.
Police are currently investigating the specific motive and circumstances of the crime.
