Naver Corporation and Spotify Join Forces to Connect Audio Content

Naver Corporation announced on the 4th that it will enter into a strategic partnership with global audio and subscription streaming platform Spotify. This collaboration aims to make it easier for users to access a wide range of audio content, from music to podcasts, across the entire Naver ecosystem.
Through this partnership, the two companies will integrate Naver Corporation’s various services with Spotify’s vast library of over 100 million tracks and 7 million podcasts. The goal is to help users easily discover and enjoy music and audio content tailored to their moods, preferences, and situations.
Jaehoo Lee, Head of NAVER app Service, stated, “Through our collaboration with Spotify, we expect users will be able to discover and enjoy audio content that matches their tastes, situations, and moods more easily.” He added, “We will further enhance the synergy between our companies so that users can experience and enjoy the enriched audio content, including music and podcasts, in various ways.”
Gautam Talwar, General Manager for Asia-Pacific at Spotify, remarked, “Since entering the Korean market, Spotify has connected fans with the music and artists they love through world-class personalization and recommendation features.” He continued, “Through this partnership, we will work together to ensure more listeners can easily discover music that fits every moment and emotion.” Details of the partnership and future services will be announced sequentially.
