[Financial News] A young child faced an unexpected crisis when the elevator doors failed to open. Frightened, the child crouched in the center of the elevator, clasped their hands, and began to pray. Soon, the child's voice echoed through the elevator.
"Lord, please open the door. I'm a little scared, but I know You are with me."
When the prayer ended with the word 'Amen,' the elevator doors opened as if in response. Startled, the child stepped back, then quickly calmed down and exited.
This moment was fully recorded on the elevator's CCTV and spread rapidly through social networking service (SNS).
On the 31st of last month (local time), foreign media such as The Times of India (TOI) reported that a short video titled 'A Boy's Prayer Trapped in an Elevator' was going viral on SNS.
In the video, the child appears momentarily flustered when the doors don't open, then crouches down and clasps his hands tightly in prayer. His whispered voice fills the empty elevator, and as if in answer, the doors slowly begin to open. With wide eyes, the child looks surprised, then smiles with relief and walks out.

The exact location where the video was filmed has not been confirmed. However, the account @HumanityChad, which first shared the video on X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram, posted it with the caption, "A boy trapped in an elevator quietly prayed. Is there any faith as pure as this in the world?" The video has since garnered hundreds of thousands of views.
Viewers who watched the video left warm comments such as "It's a miracle," "His prayer was answered," and "It's touching."
As the video gained attention, some speculated that it might be a manipulated video created with Artificial intelligence (AI). In response, others commented, "Even if it's made, it's still comforting," and "What does it matter if it's fake?"
News outlets also reported on the story.
The Times of India (TOI) wrote, "This touching viral video shows the elevator doors miraculously opening thanks to the child's pure faith, moving viewers around the world. The footage vividly demonstrates the resilience of the human spirit and the comfort found in faith during frightening moments."
Pune Pulse reported, "Moments of pure faith can come unexpectedly, and this young boy reminded the world of that truth in the warmest way."
