Gwangju to Host Honam’s Only Comprehensive Medical, Healthcare, and Beauty Expo: ‘Gwangju Medical & Beauty Fair’

Gwangju Metropolitan City will host the region’s only comprehensive medical, healthcare, and beauty industry expo, the ‘2025 Gwangju Medical & Beauty Fair,’ at Kim Daejung Convention Center from the 30th to November 1.

The ‘Gwangju Medical & Beauty Fair’ will take place in Gwangju Metropolitan City, marking the only event of its kind in the Honam region.
Gwangju Metropolitan City announced that the ‘2025 Gwangju Medical & Beauty Fair’ will be held at Kim Daejung Convention Center from the 30th to November 1.
The fair, hosted by Gwangju Metropolitan City and organized by the Gwangju Tourism Organization, will feature 115 participating companies and 293 booths, presenting and promoting the latest technologies and products.
The exhibition hall will be divided into several zones, including the Medical Beauty Industry Joint Pavilion, Seminar Zone, Medi-Beauty Stage, Beauty Experience Zone, and Dalbit Alliance Pavilion.
The core exhibition area, the Medical Beauty Industry Joint Pavilion, will highlight nine themes such as optical medical technology, hospital-centered artificial intelligence (AI), biomaterials, senior-friendly solutions, orthopedics, dentistry, dementia, micro medical robots, and cosmetics. Sixty-eight local companies will join to showcase advanced medical technologies and products.
The Seminar Zone and Medi-Beauty Stage will host a variety of specialized seminars, including sessions on fostering regional medical-bio industry-academic cooperation, the latest trends and development skills for digital therapeutics, oral hygiene management, and a makeup demonstration by Ham Kyung-shik, CEO of ARTi Cheongdam Hair & Makeup.
In particular, hands-on programs for citizens will be offered, such as functional cosmetics experiences, a fitness contest, personalized exercise consultations, aroma and nail care, health assessments and thermal massage, CPR training, and prize events.

Choe Taejo, Director of the Artificial Intelligence Industry Bureau at Gwangju Metropolitan City, stated, “We expect this fair to expand domestic and global marketing opportunities for local companies. We also invite everyone to participate in the diverse hands-on programs, including health assessments, aromatherapy, skin diagnostics, and nail care.”
Meanwhile, the fair will be held concurrently with Photonics Korea and the Gwangju Nail Expo, providing a platform for cross-industry exchange.
