Gangneung has announced plans to provide the nation’s best benefits to contributors of the Hometown Love Donation Program.
According to Gangneung on the 29th, the city has completed a comprehensive revision of its ordinances to ensure top-level recognition and benefits for Hometown Love Donation Program contributors.
Key benefits for donors include a 20% discount on usage fees at the Gangneung Green City Experience Center, Imhae Natural Recreation Forest, Gangneung Hanok Village, camping facilities, and Hope House; a 40% discount on admission to the Jeongdongsimgok Badabuchae Trail; and free entry to Ojukheon House and the Municipal Museum.
Additionally, Gangneung has increased the discount rates for popular private tourist attractions, raising the admission discount for Arte Museum Gangneung from 20% to 30% and for Haslla Art World from 20% to 25%, further enhancing the recognition for donors.
The city is also running a 'Drought Recovery Appreciation Event' from the 15th until November 7 to thank people nationwide for their warm support during the recent drought. Through this event, the first 200 donors will receive a 10,000-won Naver Pay voucher in addition to the usual gifts.
Cho Yeon-jung, head of Gangneung’s Special Self-Governing Promotion Team, stated, “With this comprehensive revision of the ordinances related to the recognition of Hometown Love Donation Program contributors, we are now able to provide the highest level of benefits and recognition nationwide. We hope that this opportunity will encourage more people to donate to and visit Gangneung.”
