AhnLab, Inc. Reports 7.9 Billion KRW Operating Profit in Q3: 'Revenue Structure Improving, Overseas Business Thriving'

AhnLab, Inc. announced on the 29th that its consolidated revenue for the third quarter of this year reached 64.5 billion KRW, with an operating profit of 7.9 billion KRW, according to provisional figures. Compared to the same period last year, revenue decreased by 5.8% and operating profit fell by 7.6%. However, on a cumulative basis from the first to the third quarter, revenue increased by 3.4% and operating profit rose by 2.2% year-on-year.
On a separate basis, third-quarter revenue was 57.2 billion KRW, down 6.2% from a year earlier, while operating profit rose 7.5% to 10.3 billion KRW. For the year to date, both revenue and operating profit grew by 1.9% and 5.7%, respectively, compared to the same period last year.
AhnLab, Inc. stated, “In the third quarter, while the process of improving our revenue structure by focusing on our high-margin products and services had some impact on total revenue, overall profitability and stable operations were maintained. In particular, overseas businesses, including the Saudi Arabian joint venture Rakeen, as well as AhnLab Japan Co., Ltd. and the Chinese subsidiary, showed growth in both revenue and operating profit, achieving positive results in our global operations.”
