[Financial News] Lotte Corporation and the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) announced on the 27th that they held the 'Lotte Brand Expo in Central Europe' in Vienna from June 23 to 25, achieving export consultation results worth approximately $49.9 million (about 71.8 billion KRW).
The 'Lotte Brand Expo' is a win-win program launched by Lotte Home Shopping in 2016 to help domestic small and medium-sized enterprises expand overseas. Since 2022, it has been expanded to the group level. This year, 50 Korean SMEs participated in the event, promoting Korean products such as K-beauty and K-food to buyers from 76 companies across Europe, including Germany, France, Hungary, and Romania. The cumulative number of consultations reached 575, with total export consultation amounts at $49.9 million.
Lotte Home Shopping organized a premium drugstore-themed promotional zone as a business-to-consumer (B2C) event. Participating companies demonstrated their products directly and encouraged local consumers to experience them firsthand.
Kim Jae-gyeom, CEO of Lotte Home Shopping, stated, “Outstanding products from Korean SMEs, including K-beauty, received an enthusiastic response from local buyers and consumers in Vienna, a key hub for entering the European market. We will continue to operate the 'Lotte Brand Expo,' Lotte Corporation’s flagship win-win platform, to help Korean SMEs enhance their competitiveness in the global market.”
