LG Electronics Inc. (LG Electronics) Hosts 'Future 2030 Summit' with Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology and Others

The event brought together experts in 6G, artificial intelligence (AI), quantum, and the space industry to discuss and exchange insights on future core technologies.
Since 2022, LG Electronics has organized the '6G Grand Summit' with these two institutions. This year, the topics expanded to include AI, quantum technology, and the space industry. During the event, Byoung-Hoon Kim, CTO and Executive Vice President of LG Electronics, Kwang Hyung Lee, President of KAIST, Yeonkyu Park, Vice President of KRISS, and Park Inkyu, Director-General for Science, Technology and Innovation at the Ministry of Science and ICT, delivered welcoming and congratulatory remarks. Other notable attendees included Cho Dong Ho and Songcheol Hong, professors at KAIST and heads of the LG Electronics-KAIST 6G Research Center; Heo Jun, President of the Korean Institute of Communications and Information Sciences and professor at Korea University; Donggu Kim, Chair of the ORIA Steering Committee and professor at Yonsei University; Sang Wook Han, President of the Korean Quantum Information Society; as well as researchers from the Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI) and the Korea AeroSpace Administration (KASA). Numerous experts from national research institutes and academia participated in technology presentations and demonstrations.
