KOSPI Surpasses 3,920 for the First Time During Trading... Peaks at 3,924.90 [fn Morning Market Report]

[The Financial News] On the 24th, the Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) surpassed the 3,920 mark for the first time ever. The index continues to set new intraday record highs in real time.
As of 11:21 a.m., KOSPI was trading at 3,921.87, up 76.31 points (1.98%) from the previous trading day.
KOSPI opened at 3,893.23, up 47.67 points (1.24%) from the previous session. It surpassed the 3,910 mark for the first time during trading and then, at around 11:04 a.m., crossed the 3,920 threshold for the first time ever. At approximately 11:24 a.m., the index touched 3,924.90, breaking its previous intraday record high.
In the domestic stock market, individual investors are selling off shares worth 705.5 billion won, while foreign investors and institutions are buying 265.8 billion won and 452 billion won worth of shares, respectively.
Among the top 14 stocks by market capitalization, SK hynix (5.96%), Doosan Enerbility (4.91%), LG Energy Solution (4.47%), and HD Hyundai Heavy Industries (3.29%) recorded the largest gains.
On the other hand, Hanwha Aerospace (-1.62%), Hyundai Motor (-0.60%), and Kia (-0.52%) are declining. Samsung Electronics, the largest stock by market capitalization, is trading at 98,850 won, up 2.44% from the previous trading day.
