[Financial News] Singer Lee Chan-won achieved half-million seller status just two days after releasing his second studio album, 'Chanran'.
According to Hanteo Chart on the 22nd, Lee Chan-won's second studio album 'Chanran' recorded cumulative sales of 543,404 copies within two days of its release. The album also topped the Hanteo Chart daily album chart as of the 22nd, continuing its strong chart performance.
Notably, Lee Chan-won has now achieved three consecutive half-million sellers, with his first full-length album 'ONE', his second mini album 'bright;Chan', and now his second studio album 'Chanran', each surpassing 500,000 cumulative sales.
The title track 'Oneul-eun Waenji' from 'Chanran' ranked No. 1 on the Bugs real-time music chart as of the 22nd, and also appeared on major charts such as Melon HOT100.
'Chanran' features a variety of genres and was fully produced by composer Cho Young Soo. Contributors include singer Roy Kim, lyricist Kim Eana, Rocoberry, Lee Yujin, Han-gil, Daseot Dalanteu, and Lee Kyu-hyung. In particular, the title track 'Oneul-eun Waenji', composed by Cho Young Soo and written by Roy Kim, marks Lee Chan-won's first attempt at the country genre.
The 12-track album 'Chanran' spans a wide range of genres, including country, ballad, Eurodance, soft rock, modern rock, and jazz, showcasing Lee Chan-won's expanded musical spectrum.
