KOSPI Closes Up Over 1% at Record High of 3,883.68 [fn Closing Market]

[The Financial News] The Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) showed strong momentum at the end of trading on the 22nd, closing up more than 1%.
On this day, the KOSPI finished at 3,883.68, up 59.84 points (1.56%) from the previous session, setting a new all-time closing high.
The KOSPI opened at 3,827.23, up 0.09% from the previous day. Early in the session, it fluctuated around the 3,800 mark and fell as low as 3,794.52 (-0.77%). However, thanks to net buying by institutions, the index closed higher for the sixth consecutive session.
In the KOSPI Market, individuals and foreign investors recorded net sales of 5.42 billion won and 72.49 billion won, respectively. Institutions made net purchases of 76.24 billion won, helping to support the index.
The Korean Securities Dealers Automated Quotations (KOSDAQ) also turned positive during the session, closing at 879.15, up 6.65 points (0.76%) from the previous day.
