Hankook Tire’s ‘Winter i*cept’ Achieves Top Ratings in German Media Tests

[Financial News] Hankook Tire & Technology announced on the 22nd that its premium winter tire brand, the Winter i*cept lineup, has demonstrated excellent technological performance in recent comparative tests of winter tires conducted by five leading German automotive magazines.
The Winter i*cept RS3 received the highest ‘Outstanding’ and ‘Very Good’ ratings in tests by Germany’s renowned Auto Bild Allrad and Auto Motor und Sport (AMS), respectively. Notably, in the Auto Bild Allrad test, it ranked first among 12 tire brands, earning top marks in every evaluation category.
The Winter i*cept evo3, a high-performance winter tire, and the Winter i*cept evo3 X, a model designed for SUVs, also achieved excellent results.
The Winter i*cept evo3 was recognized for its snow handling performance in the Auto Bild test, earning the title of ‘Snow Expert’ along with a ‘Good’ rating. In tests by the Allgemeiner Deutscher Automobil-Club e.V. (ADAC), Germany’s largest automobile association, it also received a ‘Good’ rating for its wet and dry performance and high fuel efficiency.
Additionally, the Winter i*cept evo3 X demonstrated its braking and slalom handling capabilities on snow and wet surfaces in the Auto Bild Sportscars test, earning a ‘Good’ rating.
