[Financial News] VISANG Education announced on the 22nd the official launch of its Learning Attitude and Emotional Assessment and Woori Class Social Emotional Learning programs, aiming to expand Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) in public education.
This service leverages VISANG Education’s Artificial Intelligence Digital Textbook (AIDT) and the VIVASAM teaching and learning materials platform, enabling elementary, middle, and high school teachers nationwide to easily utilize the resources. VISANG Education aims to diagnose students’ emotional states and learning environments, helping teachers support emotion-based learning in the classroom.
The Learning Attitude and Emotional Assessment is the industry’s first standardized psychological test certified by the Korean Psychological Association. Jointly developed by professors from Sogang University’s Department of Psychology and the Institute of Cognitive Psychology at VISANG Education, the assessment includes the META Comprehensive Learning Assessment, which evaluates motivation, strengths, and relationship skills, and the Meta Self-Regulated Learning Assessment, which measures self-regulated learning abilities. Both assessments can be completed online in about 25 minutes, and results are provided instantly in PDF reports for pre- and post-comparison and growth analysis.
Woori Class Social Emotional Learning offers simple SEL materials that can be used in less than five minutes before or after class, and can be integrated into regular lessons without additional sessions. The Social and Emotional Learning Theme Special Lectures cover six topics—habits, time management, literacy, convergent thinking, metacognition, and self-esteem—to help strengthen students’ social and emotional competencies. The video content is produced in various formats, including animation, news, lectures by renowned instructors, and short dramas, to increase engagement.
A VISANG Education representative stated, "The more emotionally stable and socially competent students are, the greater their academic achievement and self-regulation skills." The spokesperson added, "We will continue to expand our data-driven SEL system, which combines AI-based diagnostic solutions and psychological research, to provide teachers with customized strategies for supporting students’ learning and emotional development."
