Dell Technologies announced on the 22nd the launch of its new entry-level business PC lineup, 'Dell Pro Essential' laptops and desktops, targeting the domestic small and medium business (SMB) market. The new lineup offers reliable performance, security, and ease of management.
Building on the legacy of Dell Latitude for business laptops and OptiPlex for desktops, the Dell Pro series combines powerful performance with a timeless, clean design. The Essential lineup is tailored for SMBs seeking cost-effective PCs, delivering essential features and performance for optimal user experience.
The newly released lineup includes four models: the Dell Pro 14 Essential and Dell Pro 15 Essential Laptop for business use, as well as the Dell Pro Slim Essential and Dell Pro Tower Essential Desktop.
The Dell Pro 14 Essential is a 14-inch laptop equipped with up to an Intel Core 7 CPU and Intel Iris Xe graphics. Its IPS panel display features a 16:10 aspect ratio, 2K resolution, and 300 nits of brightness, providing a wide and vivid view for document work. An integrated FHD webcam and digital microphone enhance the video conferencing experience. With up to 12 hours of battery life, it is highly portable for work on the go.

The Dell Pro 15 Essential Laptop offers models with up to a 13th Gen Intel Core i7 CPU and Intel Iris Xe graphics, or an AMD Ryzen 5 processor with AMD Radeon graphics. The display supports FHD resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, and the full-size keyboard with numeric keypad ensures efficient workflow.
These products feature robust security for SMBs, including Trusted Platform Module 2.0 (TPM 2.0) for data encryption. Options include a fingerprint reader for fast and secure login and a privacy shutter for the camera. The 14-inch model also offers a wedge-shaped lock slot to prevent loss. Both laptops have passed the MIL-STD-810H military standard for durability against external shocks.
Both models have been available in Korea since early last month.

The Dell Pro series is categorized by chassis size into Tower, Slim, and Micro models. The Dell Pro Slim Essential features a compact design (9.5x29.3x30.3cm) for maximum space efficiency in tight environments, while the Dell Pro Tower Essential Desktop is approximately 2cm taller and 6cm wider.
Both desktops are equipped with up to Intel Core Ultra 5 processors and Intel UHD Graphics, supporting 16GB DDR5 memory for fast workload processing. They offer various OS options, including Windows 11 Pro, Windows 11 Home, and Ubuntu (available from late November).
These models feature a tool-less design, allowing users to easily replace or upgrade components without tools. With three PCIe slots and support for up to 1TB SSD, performance can be flexibly expanded. There are eight USB ports, an SD card slot option, and connectivity for up to four FHD monitors and two 4K displays via DisplayPort and daisy chain, ensuring excellent peripheral compatibility.
The Dell Pro Slim Essential and Dell Pro Tower Essential Desktop have been available in Korea since mid-October.
Kevin Kim, Country General Manager of Dell Technologies Korea, stated, “With the growing demand for AI PCs and the end of Windows 10 support, PC replacement needs continue to rise. The new Essential lineup offers all the key features to meet diverse business requirements at a reasonable price and will serve as a vital foundation for SMBs on their journey of innovation.”
